Imagination Library Program to Kick Off at Fun Family Event

The Door County Partnership for Children and Families (DCPCF), a program of United Way of Door County, has been working hard during the last year to bring the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program to Door County children. The program will officially kick off at the Door County Library in Sturgeon Bay on Dec. 15, 10 am-12 pm.

The DCPCF, along with the Door County Library, invites families to attend Glitter-Rama. Attend to learn more about the Imagination Library program, make fun holiday decorations and enjoy some delicious treats. Attendance is not required to sign up for the program.

The Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a free, book-gifting program for young children. Children up to age 5 will receive a new, age-appropriate book in the mail each month. Families can register for the program by using a paper registration form, available at the United Way of Door County office. Online registration will be available soon at doorcountyparents.com. The cost to sponsor a year’s worth of books for a Door County child is $25.
