In Case of Emergency

On August 2 from 9 – 11 am, Door County Sail and Power Squadron continues its seminar series, at SkipperBud’s Quarterdeck Marina in Sturgeon Bay, with “Emergencies on Board” presented by Bob DeNoto.

This seminar is designed to prepare the prudent skipper for those unfortunate situations involving accidents and emergencies on board and how to adequately deal with common emergencies when they occur. Topics include: preventing accidents, emergency calls and signals, running aground, man overboard, fire, taking on water, getting lost, losing power, broken rigging, steering failures, towing, abandoning ship and medical conditions.
