Independence Weekend Celebration

On July 3 head to Egg Harbor to start the Independence Day weekend. Modern Day Drifters will kick off the weekend in Harbor View Park from 5 – 9 pm. Great food will be available for purchase from local restaurants in the park starting at 4 pm. Voted the best fireworks in Door County by Door County Magazine readers, the fireworks will light up the sky starting at 9:30 pm.

On July 4th the fun continues with the Egg Harbor Independence Day parade. The parade runs south on Highway 42 from Church Street to Harbor School Road. If you would like to participate in the parade, line up starts on Church Street heading north at 12:30 pm. While there is no official entry form, parade participants are asked to refrain from throwing candy from the float and using any sort of water guns, balloons, etc. After the parade make sure to head down to Harbor View Park to see the UW Marching Band perform their well-known 5th Quarter.
