Launched in 2018, INDOOR ACTIVE provides sport leagues, events and classes for youth and adults in northern Door County. Now it’s gearing up for its inaugural indoor cycling Winter Race Series to help cyclists test their fitness and keep their 2019 goals at the forefront.
The series consists of four races, held monthly from January to April at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor.
Each race features a 10K, pre-set course. Bicycles will be mounted to CycleOps M2 Smart Trainers with resistance synced to the PerfPRO Studio course-route data to simulate an outdoor riding experience. Riders will see power output, speed and cadence while riding the course as fast as they can.
Finish times will be ranked, and awards will go to the fastest female and male riders in each race and to overall series winners.
Beginner cyclists are encouraged to participate, and bicycles can be provided if you don’t have your own. To register for the Winter Race Series, go to indooractivesports.com.
