Rally five of your smartest friends, or at least those who can rattle off the most useless knowledge, and head over to the Inn at Cedar Crossing in downtown Sturgeon Bay on the remaining Thursday evenings of February from 7:30 – 8:30 pm for Quiz Night.
The questions and categories are “all over the place,” according to owner Kelly Hellmann, who created the event with her co-owner and husband, Steve.
“It was my husband’s idea actually,” she admits. “We got the idea after going to Titletown Brewing in Green Bay for dinner this summer and they had a trivia night. It was a lot of fun, so we thought, ‘Let’s do it here.’”
Steve got to work on coming up with questions fitting several categories, ranging from ‘Women on Top’ to ‘Let’s Look Under the Hood’ to ‘All Are Cold, Some Our Frozen.’
Each Quiz Night features three rounds and twelve questions each round. The winners of each round will receive $10 gift certificates to the Inn at Cedar Crossing while the group that accumulates the most points wins the pot. “Each person contributes $1 to play for the pot,” explains Kelly. “We’ve had a really good turn out so far. It’s just nice to have something to do in the wintertime.”
In addition to their regular menu, Inn at Cedar Crossing will offer an expanded selection of appetizers. The Wisconsin Microbrew of the Month and Door County wines will be served at happy hour prices all evening.
Inn at Cedar Crossing is located on the corner of Louisiana Street and Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information call 920.743.4200 or visit http://www.innatcedarcrossing.com.
