Intensive Sustainability Study Circle Details Confirmed

A series of four weekly meetings begin Thursday, May 7 to discuss concepts presented in the book, The Natural Step for Communities:  How Cities and Towns Can Change to Sustainable Practices by Sarah James and Torbjorn Lahti. The book discussion group is free and open to the public. It will meet at the Fish Creek Community Building from 4 – 6 pm.

This study circle is designed to accommodate persons whose schedules do not permit a typical eight-week Natural Step course. Participants will read more material between discussion group meetings. Interested persons should contact the study circle facilitator, Renny Lea, at 920.868.9698 or [email protected], and read the first four chapter of the James and Lahti book before the first meeting.

Participants need to acquire a copy of The Natural Step for Communities in order to contribute to the discussion. Copies are available for loan through the public library system, at some area bookstores, or for $25 from Ann Hippensteel, 920.743.3337 or [email protected]. Proceeds from the sale of the book are used to support the educational programs of Sustain Door, Inc., the not-for-profit sponsoring organization.
