Interfibers Hosts Fiber Demonstration

Demonstration at Interfibers Studio Gallery.

Wendy Carpenter of Interfibers Studio Gallery is hosting the second part of her demonstration of off-loom, mixed-media weaving on repurposed objects Aug. 20, 11 am – 3 pm.

Carpenter’s uniquely created texture, developed through patterned weaving and basketry coiling, adds sculptural relief forms to her work – all hand-woven on two three-foot repurposed barrel rims with her specialty circular threading technique.

Collaboratively hand-woven jackets made through a fair-trade mission project are 35% off, and the gallery also offers an array of necklaces with polished Door County geode pendants combined with sterling silver.
