International Tai Chi Symposium at Kress Pavilion Aug. 26-29

Master Chan, Ming Shu will be in residence at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor during the 2019 International Tai Chi Symposium Aug. 26-29 to offer four two-hour teaching sessions in tai chi and qigong.

Master Chan, Ming Shu will be in residence at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor during the 2019 International Tai Chi Symposium Aug. 26-29 to offer four two-hour teaching sessions in tai chi and qigong, co-sponsored by Laughing Tiger Tai Chi and Junction Center Yoga. Master Chan may also hold public demonstrations, to be determined later.

Chan, Ming Shu has been practicing tai chi for nearly 40 years and has represented Taiwan internationally, earning prestigious awards. Chan, Ming Shu has mentored Carol Hoehn, owner of Laughing Tiger Tai Chi in Fish Creek, for more than 10 years.

The fee is $40 per two-hour class per day. Classes open to any skill level will be held Aug. 26, 10 am – 12 pm; and Aug. 27, 6:30-8:30 pm. An intermediate (8 or 13 forms or above) class will be held Aug. 28, 10 am – 12 pm. An intermediate-to-advanced (8, 13, 24 forms or above) class will be held Aug. 29, 10 am – 12 pm.
