Strege died on March 17, 2014, at the age of 32. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother and loyal friend. Strege grew up in Egg Harbor and was a graduate of Gibraltar High School’s class of 2000. He worked at Peninsula State Park Golf Course, Husby’s Food & Spirits and the Sister Bay Bowl, to name a few. Strege has been described as “the light in the room” and big cup organizers are planning the event in that spirit – a day to celebrate, remember and support those Strege loved most.
