Introducing the Pen Player Interns

Participating in the Peninsula Players’ program this season are: Tracy Nowak, Elizabeth Keeney, Andrew Purvis, Larissa Petersen, Cory Vincent, Peter Brian Kelly, Shannon Golden, Ellen Johnson, Keira Jacobs and Olivia Bagley.

This summer Peninsula Players Theatre welcomed 10 new interns into the community. They live, play and work side by side with many diverse industry professionals.

“What is great about this internship are the endless opportunities to learn, and knowing that you are in such a supportive environment that you aren’t afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and gain skills in a completely different area than your own,” said Shannon Golden, who recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Stage Management.

Golden is one of two recipients of the Kathryn A. Doerr Apprentice Fund. This fund provides critical support to the apprentice program. Larissa Petersen, Peninsula Players administrative intern and recent graduate from UW – Stevens Point with majors in drama and arts management, is also a recipient of this scholarship.
