All Invited to Parent Night at Southern Door Auditorium

The Southern Door County School District invites parents and community members to attend a Love and Logic Parent Night on Feb. 16, 6-8 pm, at Southern Door Auditorium. Jim Clark, a trained Love and Logic presenter and Principal at Notre Dame of De Pere, will present strategies to help parents put an end to arguing, backtalk, and begging. For convenience of parents, childcare will be provided.

The Love and Logic approach to parenting is built around the science of crafting caring and respectful relationships. Parents will learn:  the basics of the Love and Logic approach; practical strategies for ending arguing, back-talk, and begging; and the importance of holding children accountable for their poor decisions through the use of logical or natural consequences.
