Irwin and Friends Perform on Washington Island

Tennessee native and American Folklore Theatre veteran Chris Irwin returns to Washington Island’s Trueblood Performing Arts Center on Oct. 7 at 7:30 pm.

Performing in the county since 1997, Irwin is a regular at Fishstock and Woodwalk concerts, as well as AFT productions like Lumberjacks in Love, Goodnight Irene, and Guys on Ice.

Irwin most recently appeared in the Atlanta premier of Ring of Fire, the Johnny Cash tribute show. He intends to play some Cash at the Trueblood concert.

Local favorites Nick Hoover and Nick Steingart of The Nicks and Julian Hagen will join Irwin for a night of folk, bluegrass and country originals and favorites.
