“Isaac’s Eye” Opens at TAP June 30

Opening June 30 at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) is Isaac’s Eye; it will be performed through July 23.

Isaac’s Eye is a fantastically brilliant and fresh new play by Lucas Hnath, one of the most produced young playwrights in the country today. This amazingly creative new work playfully presents the 17th Century world of Isaac Newton in a completely contemporary and wildly theatrical setting. A battle between two great intellects (with egos to match) results in an entertaining evening of theater that pulses with wit, humor and tension. The cast includes: Drew Brhel, Kay Allmand, Dan Klarer, and Jared Davis in his TAP debut as Isaac. Robert Boles will direct.

Isaac’s Eye contains mature themes and is not intended for younger audiences.

Performances will be held at 7:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday, and at 2 pm on Sunday. A special Tuesday evening performance is set for July 19. A pay-what-you-can preview is set for June 29. Tickets are $27 general admission and $10 students.

Third Avenue Playhouse is located at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. Call 920.743.1760 for more information.
