Isadoora Holds Auditions for The Dinner Party

Isadoora Theatre Company is conducting open auditions for its upcoming production of The Dinner Party by Neil Simon. Auditions will be held at Hope Church, 141 S. 12th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, on November 14 at 2 pm.

The Dinner Party calls for three men and three women, all aged approximately 30 to 50. A prepared monologue is encouraged but not required, as auditions will consist primarily of cold readings from the script. Individuals with head shots and theatrical resumes are encouraged to bring this material, but all interested community members are encouraged to audition.

The performance will be directed by Henry Timm, and rehearsals will begin soon after casting and may include some weekend dates. Performances will be Feb. 11 – 14 & 18 – 21, 2010 at Third Avenue Playhouse, Sturgeon Bay.

Volunteers are also needed for work behind the scenes! For those individuals interested in getting involved but don’t consider themselves an actor, email [email protected] to learn about other ways to help, including building sets, painting scenery, sewing costumes, helping with an advertising campaign, and much more!
