    The Peninsula Chamber Singers would like to welcome singers from Northeast Wisconsin to rehearse and perform with Artistic Director Merle Colburn. With performances twice a year, the chorus will begin rehearsing for the spring concert on Monday February 23 at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church (UMC).

    Hands On Art Studio and the Door County Humane Society are teaming up to present the 1st Annual Goldfish Races on Saturday, Feb. 7, from noon – 4 pm. One of many games offered during Fish Creek Winter Festival, goldfish racing is a new twist on the minnow races festival goers used to enjoy.

    KL Communications has announced the dates for the Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft shows set to take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One of three shows put on by the group – the others in Baltimore, Maryland and Providence, Rhode Island – the Fourth Annual Milwaukee Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show returns to the Midwest Airlines Center on September 26 and 27, 2009.

    Newport State Park will hold it’s 18th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe event on Saturday, February 14, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. Seventeen years ago Newport State Park began the candlelight ski tradition in Door County and it is the only state park in Door County that also allows hiking and snowshoeing during the event.
