    Jeanne Kuhns brings her versatile band, Lost Mothra, to the Woodwalk Gallery stage on Friday, July 3 at 7 pm. Lost Mothra is made up of Kuhns, a fixture on the Door County music scene, Chicago’s George Sawyn and Minneapolis’s Jeff Crooks on guitar, fiddle by Lynn Gudmundsen, and bass player Patrick Palmer.

    Dr. Lincoln Brower has studied numerous aspects of the monarch butterfly since 1954, when he was a graduate student at Yale University. He is will speak about his research findings in “Grand Saga of the Monarch Butterfly,” a lecture he is giving on Monday, June 15 at 7 pm in the Hotz Wilderness Room of Newport State Park.
