The Jacksonport Farmer’s Market, sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association, will open for the season on June 14. As in the past, the market will be held at Lakeside Park on Highway 57 in downtown Jacksonport on Tuesdays from 9 am – 1 pm through October, as weather permits.
There are nearly 20 vendors participating in the Jacksonport Farmer’s Market this season. Offerings will include homemade jams, pickles, salsa and delicious pies, vegetables, herbs, flowers, meat products, eggs, plants and plant containers, bird houses and bird feeders, certified organic fruit, vegetables and fresh strawberries in season. Returning vendors include “Plain Jane’s Aprons,” Bay View Organics, Sammi Rae’s Homemade, Logan Creek Soap, Watch Us Grow, and DC Meats.
New vendors will include Bonnie Smith with “Simply Irresistible Creations,” Mike Allen with confectionary, Wayne Fay with dried herbs, spices, herbal teas, and seasonings, and Waseca Farm Market offering certified organic beef.
New vendors interested in participating are welcome to stop by the Jacksonport Craft Cottage for an entry form or additional information.
