Jacksonport Celebrates Cherry Fest

Lakeside Park in Jacksonport is once again the venue for Cherry Fest.

The celebration is August 4 from 7 am – 4 pm. Food will be served, including fresh cherries, cherry brats and cherry hamburgers as well as an assortment of cherry desserts.

There will also be a Juried Arts & Crafts Fair, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music and a Penny Hunt on the beach for children 3 – 8 years old.

The Root Cellar in the Erskine Area will also be open for tours, and Jacksonport Family memorabilia will be displayed.

The 18th annual Cherry Fest is sponsored by the Jacksonport Historical Society.
