Jacksonport Craft Cottage Features Anderson Watercolors

The Jacksonport Craft Cottage, now in its 25th year, is pleased to present watercolors by Kari Anderson as part of a Fall Showcase Oct. 17 – 19. Anderson is a watercolorist who resides in Door County, and she paints the many seasons of the peninsula. Many will recognize her Door County Lighthouse series and many others know her work for its wintry Scandinavian flavor.

Anderson earned an Associate Degree in Commercial Art in 1976 from the Madison Area Technical College, but her love of watercolor goes back to the inspiration of a favorite teacher in high school. She has been an art teacher at the Peninsula Art School, as well as the Miller Art Center, since about 1990.

The Craft Cottage in Jacksonport is very pleased to include watercolors by Kari Anderson in their gallery collection, and they are pleased to feature her during their Fall Showcase. Anderson will be on hand during some of the open hours during the Fall Showcase to share her work with patrons. Her work will continue to be on display at the Jacksonport Craft Cottage all winter.

The Jacksonport Craft Cottage is located at 6275 Hwy. 57. Beginning November 3, the store will be open winter weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) from 9 am – 5 pm or by appointment (920.823.2288).
