Jacksonport Egg Hunt Scheduled for March 31

Plans are underway for the annual Jacksonport Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association. It will be held March 31 at Lakeside Park in downtown Jacksonport. The event is free and open to the public.

The Easter Egg Hunt is intended for children 2 to 10 years of age. Children will look for and find colored plastic eggs in Lakeside Park. Each child is allowed to find three eggs and can then redeem them at the registration table for various prizes. Parents may walk along and assist younger children with the egg hunt.

Registration is 11 am to 11:30 am, with the egg hunt and prize selection immediately following. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to add to the festivities. Lynn Thorp will offer up her face painting skills for the event.
