Jacksonport Farmers Market Held Every Tuesday Throughout Summer

The Jacksonport Farmers Market is held every Tuesday morning at Lakeside Park from 9 am to 1 pm. The market is off to a great start with local vendors providing a wide variety of fresh produce and other handcrafted products. There are many regular vendors and several new vendors so come on down and see what your local Jacksonport Farmers Market has to offer. Mary Geitner from Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille is selling brats, soda and snacks. Several booths feature freshly baked goods and other treats.

Marybeth Mattson will be entertaining on most Tuesdays through the summer. Mattson lives in Jacksonport and contributes her talent to the market on a regular basis. She is part of the group Small Forest and will sell their latest album, Dream, at the market.

There are also many special guests heading to the market in July. On July 11, 9:30 – 11 am, Write On, Door County presents children’s picture book writers Jill Harding, Ann Heyse and Sue Steckart Jarosh as they read from their work and answer questions. Birch Creek will be featured on July 18. Members of the Arachne Spinners Guild will demonstrate their spinning skills on July 25.

The market celebrates its 8th season this year and is sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association.
