Jacksonport Farmers’ Market to Open June 2

The Jacksonport farmers’ market is scheduled to begin June 2 in Lakeside Park and continue weekly on Tuesdays, 9 am – 1 pm. 

To follow state guidelines regarding helping to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Jacksonport Area Business Association has made some changes for the 2020 season. The market will be open only to food vendors providing essential food: uncooked produce, meats, cheeses, canned goods and vegetable plants. No other items will be allowed. The market will also discourage gathering, so there will be no picnic tables or music.

A new vendor this year will be Ellison Bay’s Henriksen Fisheries, which will sell whitefish fillets from a refrigerated truck.
