James Kluth Benefit to Be Held July 24

The friends and family of James Kluth Jr. invite the community to a benefit in his honor July 24, 12-5 pm, at the Brussels Town Park, 1366 Junction Road in Brussels. The event will help defray the medical costs not covered by insurance from automobile-accident injuries that Kluth sustained this past spring, celebrate his recovery, and provide a way for the community to continue to encourage him

“It is impossible to thank everyone individually for everything they have done, and this event will be the perfect opportunity to thank the community as a whole,” said Kluth’s wife, Deb.

This family-friendly event will feature activities such as a cake walk, paddle-wheel drawing, bucket raffles and a live auction at 3 pm. There will also be live music by 2K Music Service beginning at 12 pm. Food includes hamburgers, hot dogs, booyah and pulled-pork sandwiches. There will also be root beer floats, cotton candy, beverages and funnel cakes made fresh on-site courtesy of the Ephraim Firefighters Association. Kluth is a member of the Brussels-Union-Gardner Fire Department, and his fellow firefighters will also assist at the event.Anyone who cannot attend but would like to make a donation may contribute to the “James Kluth Jr. Road to Recovery” GoFundMe account or the local account at Nicolet Bank, in care of the James Kluth Jr. Benefit.
