Jan Comstock Selected as Richeson 75 International Art Competition Finalist

Door County artist Jan Comstock’s oil painting, “The Pearl Earrings,” was selected as a finalist in the Richeson 75 International Art Competition titled Figure/Portrait 2016.

Jack Richeson & Co. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of art materials. As part of their mission to support the visual arts, they operate the Richeson School of Art & Gallery and created the Richeson 75 International Art Competitions. The competitions are meant to offer a venue in which established and emerging artists worldwide are able to expose their work to a wide audience. The selected finalists will exhibit their work at the Richeson Gallery from Oct. 21 to Dec. 3 and online at richeson75.com. The competition is capped off with the publication of a collectible, limited edition, full-color, hardcover exhibit book. Richeson Gallery is located at 557 Marcella Street in Kimberly, Wis.
