Janet Planet Jazz
Janet Planet, hailed as the “voice of the New Jazz Culture,” will take the stage at Door County Fire Company at 7 pm on Friday night as part of Ministry Door County Medical Center’s “Celebrate Community” Winter Concert Series.
Saturday, February 20
Hamilton Wood Type at Family Art Day
Learn the art of printmaking with the help of The Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum during Saturday’s Family Art Day at Peninsula School of Art. The demonstration will showcase how a traditional letter wood type press works followed by a workshop, which is offered to anyone interested in making their own letter press cards and posters. 9 am.
International Mother Language Day
Enjoy poetry in a variety of world languages during Write On, Door County’s annual Mother Language Day celebration. 4 pm.
February Fest
Enjoy the second of three Peninsula Music Festival’s 2016 February Fest performances this Saturday featuring PMF principal oboe Eric Olson and violist Ellen Olson, along with pianist Judith Jackson. The concert will feature the music of Shatin, Beethoven, Clarke and Loeillet. 2 pm.

Join Chuck and Estella Lauter for an afternoon presentation of their safari to Tanzania last November.
