JCC Opens Daily for the Season

“Cherry Wreath” is one of more than 80 new Amish-made quilts available at Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts changed to summer hours on May 1 and will now be open 9 am – 5 pm daily. The Craft Cottage, celebrating 29 years, features the work of over 125 artists and craftsmen and 17 Amish families from a six-state area.

The Jaroshs recently returned from their annual spring trip to visit the Amish. During the trip they gathered quilts, handmade brooms, solar lighthouses, barn starts, table runners, placemats, rugs and baskets.

The Jaroshs also pride themselves as being part of the Buy Local movement in Door County and feature over 30 local Door County artists. For more information visit jacksonportcraftcottage.com.
