Jewelry Trunk Show at Artzy Studio

Madison metalsmith and visiting artist Kerri Shannon and local artist Cynthia L. Koshalek will display their fine-art jewelry collections together during Artzy Studio’s fifth annual jewelry trunk show Aug. 11-12. 

Shannon’s 2022 collection features distinctive, hand-fabricated jewelry in sterling silver, fine silver and 18-karat gold whose patterns, waves, spirals, asymmetrical designs and negative spaces are based in simplicity.

Koshalek works with a hammer and anvil to create her pieces in sterling, 14-karat gold filled, and rose gold. Each one shows a shallow dent where the hammer has left its mark.
