Jodie DeSalvo, Jonathan Bass and Cynthia Stiehl in Concert at Birch Creek

The Birch Creek Associates will host their eighth annual fundraiser on Oct. 11, with a catered dinner and concert featuring Symphony Session pianist Jodie DeSalvo, Washington Island student Jonathan Bass, and mezzo-soprano Cynthia Stiehl.

DeSalvo is an internationally recognized pianist who has captured the attention of audiences with her classical and jazz interpretations of the masters of keyboard literature. She has toured extensively as a piano soloist, appearing with the orchestras of Chicago, Geneva, Lucerne, San Francisco, and many others. Pianist Jonathan Bass, Birch Creek Burton Scholarship winner, will also be performing, with accomplished mezzo-soprano Cynthia Stiehl providing vocal accompaniment for both piano players.

The night begins in Birch Creek’s Juniper Hall with a 5:30 pm social. A fully catered dinner will be served at 6 pm, with the concert starting at 7 pm. Tickets for this event are $85, with all proceeds to benefit Birch Creek students. Due to limited space in Juniper Hall, reservations are required by Oct. 6.
