Join the Brick Lot Pub for a Good Laugh

The last Tuesday of the month, Feb. 28, at 7:45 pm, the Brick Lot Pub hosts “The Laugh Lot,” touring and professional comedians from around the U.S. It coincides with .50-cent wing night and the comedy is free.

Comedians in “The Laugh Lot” are headliner Steve Hartman, Tracy Schroeder, Matt Kluge and John Egan, who serves as host. Hartman used to sell fire trucks for a living. Now he is a stand-up comedian. His high school guidance counselor didn’t even tell him those were options. Universal yet unique, he has been traveling the country leaving great shows in his wake. His special brand of sardonic optimism oozes positive energy while he skewers life’s absurdities.

Schroeder has been doing stand-up comedy for the last 14 years and she couldn’t imagine wanting to do anything different. She hopes to one day make it onto the cast of SNL or at least do the cast pedicures.

Kluge performs regularly at The Backlot Comedy House in Oshkosh.

After going to college and trying the working life for four years, Egan realized what a terrible mistake he had made and got serious about doing comedy. He has opened for comedy greats such as T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes, Dwayne Perkins, Nikki Glaser and more. He has performed at the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Cleveland Comedy Festival and Laughfest. He is also part of several video groups, including Table 8 Productions on YouTube.

Brick Lot Pub & Grill is located at 253 North 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information, call 920.743.9339 or visit bricklotpub.com.
