Join the Corn Board

This is your chance to nominate a corn grower to serve on the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board. Nominations are now being accepted in Districts 3, the district for Door and Kewaunee County. The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board oversees the use of assessment dollars for research, product development, international marketing and education.

To be nominated, a person must be an affected producer. An affected producer is someone who has grown and sold corn into commercial channels within the last three years and resides in the district. Affected producers can self-nominate or nominate another individual.

A printable nomination form is available online at datcp.wi.gov/About/Boards_and_Councils/Marketing_Boards/Corn_Board. Nomination forms can also be requested by calling 608.224.5116 or emailing [email protected] with name, address and district number. Notarized nomination forms must be postmarked by Dec. 6, 2014, and returned to: Market Orders Program, 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, WI 53708.
