Join the Hardy Gallery for its 2023 Community Mosaic Project

The Hardy Gallery is seeking artists for its 2023 Community Mosaic Project, now in its 16th year. People of all ages and from all creative backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Past submissions have included photography, 3D and sculptural work, assemblages, fiber work, painting, writing and collaborative works. 

Participants receive one free, six-inch-by-six-inch canvas – supplied by Artists Guild in Sturgeon Bay – on which to create, and all artwork should fit neatly on the canvas with minimal installation difficulty. An Artist Statement form should accompany the submission. 

Canvases will be available at Artists Guild, 215 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, and at the Hardy Gallery starting May 26. Call 920.854.2210 or email [email protected] to get details about picking up a canvas.

Canvases are due back to the Hardy Gallery or Artists Guild by June 25, finished or unfinished, and the project’s grand unveiling will take place in July.
