Join the Mad Hatter Tea Party

Don’t be late for the Mad Hatter Tea Party at Turtle Ridge on Aug. 8, 3 – 7 pm. Celebrate in their new garden patio and gazebo to benefit Coventry Care Clinic in Sister Bay. Tea will be served by Tea Thyme of Sister Bay, and guests are encouraged to dress in Alice in Wonderland character costumes or hats. A prize will be given to the best costume/hat.

The Turtle Ridge studio will be open for tours during the tea party. There are three new jewelers this year: Trish Stevenson creates layered and etched metals with natural and geometric designs; Sarah Mann’s simple, elegant line can be worn every day; and Veronica Riley Martin makes colorful affordable jewelry out of renewable tagua nut shell and metal. These collections are complimented by Turtle Ridge’s new felt bags, pieced fiber wall hangings, dyed and felted garments and finely handcrafted leather bags.

Martha Coventry and Joan Traver explain the mission of their clinic: “What we’re trying to do is help people who have limited income not lose that income…. The clinic is meant for patients without insurance or those with high deductible plans who can’t afford care.”

This whimsical event is a great way to celebrate summer and help others receive the care they need. Twenty percent of all sales will go to Coventry Care Clinic. Each donation will receive a door prize. For more information visit turtleridgegallery.com or call 920.854.4839.
