Jorns Places Second at Lourdes On the Water Classic

Sevastopol’s Jeremy Jorns took second in the 182-pound class at the Oshkosh Lourdes On the Water Wrestling Classic Dec. 28-29.

Jorns lost 5-3 in the final to Brock Handrick of Edgar. Jorns is now 20-1 on the season. Grant Englebert of Southern Door was the only other local wrestler to place at the event, finishing 12th in the 152-pound class.

“Grant wrestled well and kept his composure in some close matches with a couple important come-from-behind wins on Friday to get the opportunity to wrestle Saturday,” said Southern Door coach Jerry Englebert.
