“Joy of Spring” Concert at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Sister Bay is proud to announce its first concert in its newly completed addition, the Canterbury Room, taking place May 6 at 3 pm. The “Joy of Spring” concert of light classical music will feature Beth Chafey-Hon, Door County’s own classical violinist, and Janet Anderson, pianist and choir director of Sturgeon Bay. They will perform a variety of selections from the classical repertoire, including Vivaldi’s “Spring” from The Four Seasons, and favorites by Kreisler, Mendelssohn, Sarasate, Poldini, Grieg and Bartok. A few selections of intriguing international folk dance music will be added to celebrate this “Joy of Spring” concert.
This concert will be free and open to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served after the concert.
