Julian Hagen Next Up at Woodwalk Concert Series

Julian Hagen takes the stage at Woodwalk Gallery on Aug. 31 for their summer concert series.

Hagen comes from five generations of Washington Islanders who have made music an important part of their daily lives. Hagen said, “Spending nearly 40 years playing, writing, performing and producing music, I can confidently say that there will always be a story to tell, a new song to write, and a melody to strum.”

Hagen began writing music at the age of 16 and categorizes his music as folk-based. He began performing professionally with his family at the age of 15 and had no idea music would become a lifetime career. Hagen’s heart shines through every song he has written and his humor and reverence for friendships, the land and the lake are deeply rooted in his songs.

The concert starts at 7 pm, and the doors open at 5:30 pm for early picnickers. Drinks and ice cream treats are available for sale. No carry-in alcohol is allowed. Tickets are $20 cash at the door.
