Junior Golf is Here!

Junior golf is just around the corner, and area courses are gearing up for their youth summer programs.

Cherry Hills, June 15 – August 3 (Tuesdays) – Boys and girls between the ages of 7 – 17 are eligible for the weekly, summer-long program. There is a 3-Hole Beginner Golf League for $70 and a 9-Hole Golf League for $85. Space is limited to the first 40 students. IdleWild, June 14 – August 2 (Mondays) – Boys and girls between the ages of 6 – 17 are eligible for the weekly summer-long program. Three different programs are offered: a 3-Hole Program ($125) for golfers 6 and up; a 9-Hole Program ($150) for golfers that have previously participated or show proper ability; and an Advanced Program ($150) open to experienced golfers that prefer less structure and more advanced teaching. Peninsula Park Golf Course, June 21 – 24 – The Carolyn Bell Junior Golf Clinic is offered to the first 30 boys and girls that sign up. It is a four-day clinic, with three days of instruction and play, and competition on the final day. The cost is free and space is limited.
