Junior Nature Club, Ski For Free at Crossroads

The Junior Nature Club – a group for preschool children and their companions – will meet Jan. 21, 10 am, to explore snow drifts. Activities will be outdoors, and there will be some time for unstructured play. Meet on the porch of the Collins Learning Center.

When snow and temperature conditions allow, Crossroads’ Ski for Free program is open Saturdays, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, and Sundays, 12:30-3:30 pm. Friends of Crossroads and volunteers from Door County Silent Sports will help participants find the correct sizes of skis, boots, poles, snowshoes and kicksleds that are available. Check crossroadsatbigcreek.org or the Crossroads Facebook page for updated trail conditions.

Masks are recommended inside buildings at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
