KAFA Holds Open House and Registration

The Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art (KAFA) will hold its 2009/2010 Open House and registration on Saturday, Aug. 8, 7 pm. All are welcome.

KAFA was established in 2005 around professional, exhibiting artists to offer classical training to serious students of all levels. The studio school, one of a dozen world-wide, provides a positive environment for presenting a classical, progressive, certificate program, including Bargue, cast, portrait and figure drawing, anatomy, composition and painting. Graduates normally pursue a career in painting.

The public is invited to join in the event to meet individuals associated with KAFA, including management, Artistic Director, Craig Blietz, instructors, students and alumni. Student studios will also be open and examples of student artwork will be on display.

At the event, an overview of the full-time (about three years) and part-time programs will be provided. Both programs accommodate the schedule of those who work full time.
