Karen DeNoto Featured Artist at UUF Gallery

Karen DeNoto’s oils and pastels will be displayed at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) in March. She describes her work as “semi-abstract, with a strong impressionistic pull.”

DeNoto is a native of New England and studied art in college. She went on to break ground for women trying to get involved in the graphic arts industry. Twenty years in the print production business allowed her to work with museums and publishers, bringing art books and prints to homes across the country.

She said her move to Door County was a natural sequel because “The creative energy and talent of the art community [here] is inspiring.”

The UUFDC Gallery is located at the Fellowship, 269 Koessl Lane, Sister Bay. Hours are Mondays and Thursdays 10 am – 2 pm and Sundays following morning services.

Individuals interested in displaying their artwork at the UUFDC Gallery should contact Julia Bresnahan at 920.839.2606.
