Katie Dahl Day at Base Camp Coffee Bar in Sister Bay

On October 29, the public is invited to come in from the cold for a morning of hot cider, warm sweaters, and cool music as Ecology Sports/Base Camp Coffee Shop celebrates its third annual Katie Dahl Day. From 10 am – 1 pm, Ecology Sports and Base Camp will offer special deals on coffee, food, clothing, and gifts while Door County folksinger Katie Dahl assumes the role of “Human Jukebox,” serenading shoppers with a morning of acoustic folk music.

Ecology Sports, located in the old Liberty Grove Town Hall on Highway 42 in northern Sister Bay, offers a wide selection of high-quality clothing, boots, and outdoor accessories and on Oct. 29 will be featuring a number of fall deals and sale items. Base Camp Coffee Shop, located in the building’s lower level, serves coffee, tea, espresso drinks, food, and homemade baked goods, and will feature a few special treats in honor of the occasion.

Known for her eloquent songwriting and powerful vocal style, Dahl performs frequently in and beyond Door County. Base Camp customers will also recognize Dahl as one of the friendly faces behind the Base Camp counter.
