Keith Clayton Recognized at International Show

“2 Degrees” by Keith Clayton

Local artist Keith Clayton participated in the prestigious international show “Visions – The Next 50 Years,” put on by Habatat Galleries of Michigan. The event showcases the best and latest in contemporary glass by over 100 artists from around the world.

Clayton was awarded one of the three jurors awards for Best of Show by Charles A. Shepard III, executive director of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. He showed his latest body of work in cast glass and bronze from his new series entitled “Openings.”

Clayton owns and operates The K. Allen Gallery, located at County Q and Highway 57, where examples of his works are on display. He and his wife Deanna also operate the Harvest School for Glass at the same location; summer classes will begin in June.
