Kewaunee County Emergency Management is hosting its 2020 Clean Sweep collection Aug. 26, 8 am – 12 pm, at the Kewaunee County Hillside Highway Shop, E2180 Hwy 54 in Casco. Residents may safely dispose of unwanted agricultural and household hazardous waste, medications, opioids, sharps and more for free.
Residents are asked to register in advance with Kewaunee County Emergency Management before Aug. 19 by phone, mail or online.
Participants should remain in their vehicles during the drop-off, and staff (wearing personal protective equipment) will collect the items, which should be placed in a car trunk, the rear compartment of a SUV with the second row of seats up, or in the bed of a pickup truck. This is not an electronics collection event.
