Kewaunee County Municipal News: March 25 – April 1

City of Algoma: The Protection of Persons & Property Committee meets at 4 pm on March 28. The Parks & Recreation Committee meets at 5:15 pm on March 28. The Public Works Committee meets at 4 pm on March 29. The Marina Committee meets at 5:30 pm on March 29. Rep. Joel Kitchens and Rep. Scott Klug will present “Restoring the Ahnapee River: Navigating the Steps to Improved Water Quality” at city hall at 6 pm on March 31.

Village of Luxemburg: Every Monday beginning April 4 and continuing through mid-November, the village will pick up any biodegradable yard waste that is placed near the curb by 6 am in a container that is easily handled by one person. Yard waste can also be dropped off at the Municipal Garage (located on Prairie Lane) in the designated area.
