Kid’s Edition of the Pulse Literary Pages

Welcome to the Literature section’s first Kid’s Edition! Soon after becoming the Pulse’s Literary Editor, I knew I wanted to get people of all ages represented in the section, I just didn’t know how that would happen.

Then, all of a sudden, kid based content just sort of fell into my lap: I received a tall tale from Nick Jelich titled Johnny Jackson and learned about the young writer Isabelle St. John. With those two aspiring writers, I had a kid’s Literature section ready to go.

What I’m sincerely hoping is that this is something that can continue – showcasing the young writing talents around the county, whether it is a tall tale written by a grade-schooler or an essay authored by a high school student.

So, young writers, send us your stuff!
