KIDS from Wisconsin Perform July 24

On Saturday, July 24 at 7 pm, KIDS from Wisconsin will take the stage at the Southern Door Community Auditorium. Entering their 42nd season, the KIDS from Wisconsin have performed at county fairs, festivals, and conventions throughout the country. Both the singer/dancers and band members are Wisconsin residents in high school or college. Each show is a family-friendly affair as the KIDS sing, dance, and play their way through medleys from a combination of music genres.

Founded by the late Mark Azzolina with the support of Wisconsin State Fair, KIDS from Wisconsin was created as an alternative to the turbulence of the ‘60s. In 1970, KIDS from Wisconsin was officially designated as Musical Ambassadors of Goodwill for the State of Wisconsin by Governor Warren P. Knowles. Every governor since has bestowed the same honor.

They have shared stages with such diverse entertainers as Doc Severinsen, Johnny Carson, Bill Cosby, Diana Ross, The Fifth Dmension, and Bob Hope. In addition, the musical revue has helped raise thousands of dollars for charitable organizations, service clubs, and school music groups.
