Kids’ Lighthouse Festival at Eagle Bluff Light Station

Eagle Bluff Light Station will host its first Kids’ Lighthouse Festival on June 8, 12-3 pm. Festivities will include cherry pie in a cup, children’s games and a book signing with Sue Jarosh and costumed characters from her new book, Lighthouse Hero.

The Door County Historical Society invites guests to delight in the tales of the Eagle Bluff lighthouse keepers through story, song and poetry during Twilight Tours, Tunes & Tales on June 8, 6-8:30 pm. The Northern Door Storytellers Guild will be in residence to share tales of the sea and lighthouse lore, perform traditional music and recite legends in verse.

Peninsula State Park is home to Eagle Bluff Light Station on Shore Road; a park sticker is required for entry. Admission fees are $10 per adult, $6 per youth aged six through 17, and free for kids aged five and younger. Warm clothing is recommended.
