Kids Quilt Challenge

The 2018 Quilt Expo Kids Quilt Challenge, for ages 15 and younger, is looking for entrants at their September Quilt Expo. The 14th annual Quilt Expo, presented by Wisconsin Public Television with Nancy Zieman Productions, is held in the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. The show takes place 9 am – 6 pm Sept. 6-7, and 9 am – 5 pm on Sept. 8.

The top three quilts receive Nancy’s Notions gift certificates of $200, $100 and $50, courtesy of Nancy Zieman Productions. Entries for the contest are limited to the first 50 people who return the contest entry form at QuiltExpo.com/quiltcontest.

Additional Quilt Expo highlights include the 10-category juried and judged Quilt Expo Quilt Contest, featuring hundreds of quilts from across the U.S., as well as special quilt exhibits, a vendor mall, stage presentations, informal lectures, sit & sew workshops, hands-on workshops, quilt appraisals, celebrity presenters, a prize raffle and the annual Quilt to Give community service project. Registration for lectures and workshops are available beginning July 9. Entries are also being sought for the 2018 Quilt Contest and the Bake Off Quilt Challenge. Entries must be submitted by June 30.
