Kids Take Part in Firefighting Action at Open House

A large crowd attended the Gibraltar Fire Station open house on Oct. 26. The fire department had on display their equipment for the community to inspect and children got the chance to feel like real firefighters by using small-size hoses to put out wooden pop-up pictures of flames.

The highlight of the Gibraltar Fire Department open house was a live fire demonstration showing the public how quickly a fire can spread. The dramatic exhibit emphasized the need for home fire safety.
