Kids the Focus of Write On Week-long Program

Write On, Door County announces Kids WOW!, a week-long program of word play and story power for young writers, led by writers and teachers Katie McKy and Kaija Johnson. The program is intended for students entering 4th through 9th grade in the fall. Tuition for the full week is $175. Scholarships are available to local students.

Participants connect with, write beside, and play with other writers in the meadows, woods, glades and buildings of Write On. Midweek, students board the Door County Trolley to explore the wonderful world of writing around them. Participants are guided through a variety of writing forms.

All materials and supplies, as well as snacks, are provided. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Students are asked to bring a laptop, tablet, Chromebook, or other device if they have one.
