Kinnard Farms Awards Three Excellence in Agriculture Scholarships

Kinnard Farms awarded three Excellence in Agriculture Scholarships of $1,500 each to 2016 graduating high school seniors from Kewaunee, Algoma and Luxemburg-Casco. The Kinnard Farms Scholarship recognizes students interested in pursuing a career related to agriculture. The recipients of the 2016 scholarships are Abigail Joski of Kewaunee, Carmen Haack of Algoma, and Emily Gilson of Luxemburg.

Joski is a graduate of Kewaunee High School and is now a freshman at St. Norbert College majoring in pre-veterinary science.

Haack is a graduate of Algoma High School and is now a freshman at UW-Madison majoring in dairy science.

Gilson is a graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School and is now a freshman at UW-Platteville majoring in animal science.

“Each of the Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship recipients has a strong passion for agriculture and exceptional community involvement,” says Jackie Kinnard-Stewart of Kinnard Farms. “These students grew up in an area with a strong agricultural heritage. We are proud to support our community’s youth as they pursue their passion.”
